Inside a Black Hole

Inside a Black Hole
This then is the ultimate fate of massive star. The inside of a Black Hole is totally isolated from the rest of the universe. Nothing, neither matter nor light can be escape. And there is no way we can ever see in.
In many ways a black holes is simplest object ever imagined by physicists. Once a black hole has formed it makes no difference what the vanished star was made of, wheter it was helium or iron. All the effects are completely described by Einstein's theory of gravity.
Einsteis's theory predicts that a black hole will strongly distort space and time in its neighborhood. One way to imagine space is a rubber sheet. Any mass, a star or planet for example, create a small gravitational dimple in the sheet. In this pisture a black hole warps space into a bottomless well, down which matter and light fall and out of which nothing can ever climb.
